PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a handling fluid flowing in a can from circulating in a pump, in a canned motor pump in which a low pressure side impeller is disposed at one end of an output shaft of a motor and a high pressure side impeller is disposed at the other end thereof. SOLUTION: An auxiliary impeller 44 is disposed at the output shaft 26 on a side having the low pressure side impeller 38. The handling fluid discharged from the low pressure side impeller 38 by the auxiliary impeller 44 is fed to the inside of the can (F5), and the fluid is used for lubrication and the cooling of bearings 24, 25 and the cooling of the rotor 28. The fluid passing through the can passes through a balancing hole and a through hole of the output shaft (F6, F7), and then reaches the suction side of the high pressure side impeller 40. The fluid of which the temperature is increased is discharged to the outside of the pump by the high pressure side impeller 40. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
