PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the mountability on a vehicle by miniaturizing a motor pump. SOLUTION: An annularly wound coil 18 is arranged in a stator iron core 17 having a plurality of claw magnetic poles alternatively extending toward a mated side end from both end sides, respectively. A pump is driven by employing an electric motor for rotating an impeller 15 arranged on an inner peripheral side of the stator iron core 17 through the energization to the coil 18. Consequently, a compact motor pump having no coil end can be obtained to enhance the mountability on a vehicle. When such a motor pump discharges a cooling medium, in addition, the motor pump can be efficiently cooled. Resin-molding of the stator iron core allows the stator iron core to be formed of a dust core, thereby securing sealing property of the stator iron core. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
