PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paving method for forming a pavement excellent in elasticity and herbicidal properties, and easy to re-form. SOLUTION: The paving method is characterized by superposing the pavement which is a combination of an organic layer formed of organic materials derived from plants, and a herbicidal layer formed of a sheet material having imperviousness, on leveled ground surface. Herein the organic layer means a layer formed of materials derived from plants such as straws and wooden chips, and the wooden chips are produced by cutting waste wood into chips. Either the organic layer or the waterproof sheet layer may be laid on an upper side, but when the waterproof sheet layer is laid on the upper side, an asphalt layer, for instance, is preferably laid on the waterproof layer to protect the same.
