PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead-free cation electrodeposition coating composition excellent in surface smoothness effect on the formation of anti-corrosive coating films by electrodeposition coating. SOLUTION: The lead-free cation electrodeposition coating composition contains porous silica particles having a fine pore volume of 0.44 to 1.8 ml/g and an average particle diameter of≤10μm.
