PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive having dimensional stability, and to provide a method for using the same for a stick-like adhesive. SOLUTION: This adhesive having dimensional stability can be used for the surfaces of substrates at room temperature or at ordinary temperature. This comprises one or more polyolefins produced in the presence of metallocene catalysts, and has a ring and ball type softening point of 50 to 165°C, a penetration rate of <50×0.1 mm, and a melt viscosity of 20 to 40,000 mPas, when measured at a temperature of 170°C. The adhesive does not contain water and a solvent, and is used as a stick-like adhesive in a stick-like, massive, figure, spherical or pyramidal form. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
