PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water disintegrable composition containing a new biodegradable polymer having a practically usable water environment-responding property and practically sufficient cross-linking strength, and a water disintegrable molded article. SOLUTION: This biodegradable polymer is characterized by containing a unit containing a specific aliphatic polyoxyalkylene part and a specific aliphatic polyalkylene carbonate as constituting units. In this way, by using the aliphatic polymer containing the aliphatic polyoxyalkylene part as a base polymer and cross-linking between the polymers with the aliphatic polyalkylene carbonate part not having compatibility to the polymer, the water disintegrable composition containing the biodegradable block copolymer having practically useful water environment-responding property and practically sufficient cross-linking strength, and the water disintegrable molded article are obtained.
