PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a spring plate for undetachably holding a parking brake cable to a first lever member, in a perpendicularly cable-pulling type parking brake in which a parking brake cable connected to a first lever member is pulled in the direction perpendicular to a backing plate in order to operate the parking brake. SOLUTION: A locking member 68 inserted into a through hole 60 is passed between a first guide 84 installed in a first lever member 74 and a bending part (third guide) 90 installed in a second lever member 76 (as indicated by 2). Then, the locking member 68 is moved onto a cable locking part 82 side (as indicated by 3), regulating the attitude of the locking member 68 by the second guide 92, to be locked therein. |
