PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data output device and data output control program in which convenience is improved when storing and collecting a plurality of data items in a box and outputting the data or when an output starting time is set to a plurality of boxes, in the data output device such as an image forming apparatus including a box function. SOLUTION: Regarding first and second boxes, an output starting time and priorities of stored data are set and regarding the first box of which the output starting time has come, an output ending time for data stored in the box is calculated. The calculated output ending time of the first box is compared with the output starting time of the second box and if the output starting time of the second box will come earlier than the output ending time of the first box, the priorities of the first box and the second box are compared.
