PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective device capable of surely protecting an electronic circuit, which is easy to assemble, inexpensive, and mainly used for battery units of various electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: In the protective device capable of surely protecting an electronic circuit, a holding pattern 12 on which a temperature fuse 5 mounted in the vicinity of a switching element 2 is provided on a wiring board 11. When manufacturing this protective device, since the temperature fuse 5 is placed on and held by the holding pattern 12, a terminal 6 is easily soldered to a land 7, and it can be inexpensively manufactured.
