<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a light emitting characteristic by improving a heat dissipation property. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device 1 is provided with a substrate 11, a light emitting element 12 and a first metal material pattern 14. The first metal material pattern 14 is formed in an area surrounding the light emitting element 12 on the upper surface of the substrate 11. The light emitting device 1 is also provided with a reflection member 13 and a light emitting member 15. The reflection member 13 is stuck on the first metal material pattern.
