<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking body for a road so formed that the breakage and fall of a reflecting member for enhancing visibility by reflecting the light from the light of a vehicle are reduced by suppressing the deformation of the main part of a base portion which occurs at the collision of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This marking body for a road comprises a recess 31 circumferentially formed in the outer peripheral surface of the base portion 3 on the upper side of a reflecting member mounting position. When the base portion is collapsed by receiving an impact and a load from the collided vehicle, the recessed portion of the base portion is collapsed by the force applied thereto from the upper side. Since the force from the upper side is distributed at this portion, the force applied to the outer peripheral surface of the base portion under the recess is reduced, the occurrence of the fall and breakage of the mounted reflecting member can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
