PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous adhesive composition that is excellent in adhesion to a substrate (foam) having unevenness on the surface such as a urethane foam, adhesive properties, initial adhesive force and holding power as well as water resistance and suppresses generation of VOC very low, and an adhesive sheet using the same. SOLUTION: The aqueous adhesive composition comprises a polymer emulsion (A) obtained by emulsion-polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer component comprising a carbonyl group-bearing ethylenically unsaturated monomer, a tackifier (B) comprising a petroleum resin, and a compound (C) bearing at least two hydrazine groups in the molecule. An aqueous adhesive composition for foams comprising the aqueous adhesive composition is also provided. The adhesive sheet comprises a sheet and, laminated on at least one surface thereof, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed from the aqueous adhesive composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
