The invention relates to a piston (10) for an internal combustion engine, comprising a piston crown (11) and a piston skirt (12), said piston crown (11) comprising a piston head (13) and a peripheral top land (15), the piston (10) being provided with a heat-insulating coating (23) which has a closed-cell pore structure. According to the invention, the pore structure is substantially formed by vacuum pores. The present invention further relates to a method for producing said piston. |
