According to the present invention, the vibration isolation device with a one-directional MER-spring for a large displacement lets the MER-spring accommodate compression and tension in a horizontal direction at the same time by changing the shape of a bearing block (2) unlike the conventional assembly method. This is applied to reduce the increase in size and numbers of the MER-spring in accordance with an increase in the displacement. When a horizontal load is generated by an external force, the MER-spring assembled with the bearing block (2) and the MER-spring installed in a direction with an applied force are compressed to accommodate a quantity of transformation for a large displacement. In addition, when a horizontal load is generated in the opposite direction, a quantity of transformation is accommodated likewise. Here, the MER-spring installed on the bearing block (2) comes to have the same transformation for an external force in one direction, and a more stable movement is made. |
