A rotating electric machine (1) includes: a rotor (10) rotating about a shaft (3); a stator (6) in which a plurality of cores (8) around each of which an electric wire (9C) is wound are assembled in a ring shape and disposed outside the rotor in a direction orthogonal to the shaft; and an insulator (20, 30) that has an outside portion (21) disposed outside the stator in the radial direction, an inside portion (22) disposed inside the stator in the radial direction, a body portion (23) connecting the outside portion and the inside portion and having the electric wire wound therearound, a recess portion (24) provided in a part of the outside portion facing the inside portion and housing the electric wire, and a wall (25) provided on the inside portion side of the recess portion and covering a part of the recess portion, and is attached to one of the ends of the cores in a direction parallel to the shaft. |
