A rotating electric machine stator (100) is provided with: iron core end insulating members (4a, 4b) for covering both end surfaces of a divided iron core (12) in the axial direction; and an insulating film (5) for isolating a coil (3) from the inner circumferential surface of a yoke section (12a), the side surfaces of a magnetic pole tooth section (12b) in the circumferential direction, and the outer circumferential surface of a shoe section (12c) along the inner circumferential surface of the yoke section (12a), the side surfaces of the magnetic pole tooth section (12b) in the circumferential direction and the outer circumferential surface of the shoe section (12c). The length of the insulating film (5) in the axial direction is longer than the length of the divided iron core (12) in the axial direction, and the width of an end surface insulating section (4a1) in the circumferential direction does not exceed the width of the magnetic pole tooth section (12b) in the circumferential direction. |
