Provided is a metal soap containing metal soap particles of C6-22 fatty acid and an inorganic nucleation agent in which the average particle size of particles incorporated in said metal soap particles is 0.01 to 20μm; wherein the 50% cumulative diameter based on the volume of said metal soap particles is 1.0 to 30.0μm, and the incorporation rate A, represented by the formula (1) below, is 30% or more. Incorporation rate A = 100-(X/X')x100... (1), wherein: X represents the content of the inorganic nucleation agent in the metal soap; X' represents the content of the inorganic nucleation agent in a metal soap crushed article after passage through a 325 mesh filter; provided that the average value of X and X' is obtained by scanning electron microscope/energy dispersion X ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDX), under conditions of a 10kV acceleration voltage and a 15mm height, with elementary analysis of three sites in a range of 15 square μm. |
