This operation command verification method includes: a midpoint coordinates calculation step for calculating the coordinates of the midpoint between one first tool teaching point and the next first tool teaching point among multiple first tool teaching points, and calculating the coordinates of the midpoint between a second tool teaching point among multiple second tool teaching points, said second tool teaching point corresponding to the one first tool teaching point, and the next second tool teaching point; a midpoint-to-midpoint distance calculation step for calculating a midpoint-to-midpoint distance, which is the distance between the midpoint of the first tool teaching point and the midpoint of the second tool teaching point corresponding thereto; a determination step for determining whether the midpoint-to-midpoint distance is within a predetermined allowable range; and a teaching point defect reporting step for reporting the corresponding first tool teaching point and second tool teaching point as defective when the midpoint-to-midpoint distance is outside of the predetermined allowable range.
