PURPOSE:To attain an apparent flow rate characteristic appropriate to the state of usage, by using a detection signal for the degree of opening of a valve and the relationship between the apparent degree of opening of the valve and its actual degree of opening stored in a microcomputer, to calculate the opening or closing speed of the valve. CONSTITUTION:When the degree of opening of a valve 1 is to be controlled by a valve actuator 2, the actual degree theta2 of opening of the valve is first found out by a valve opening degree detector 3. An apparent degree 1 of opening which corresponds to the actual degree theta2 is calculated on the basis of a formula, theta1=f(theta2), stored in a microcomputer 4. A value, f'(theta2), which corresponds to the actual degree theta2 is calculated on the basis of a formula, dtheta1/dtheta2=f'(theta2). The opening or closing speed S1 of the valve 1 is determined by the microcomputer 4 on the basis of the results of the calculations and applied as a valve opening or closing speed set value S2 to the actuator 1 to control the opening or closing of the valve. |
