<p>A large variety of baits may be used and gutting is not necessary. The body is made in one piece, crossing over at the top to make an attachment loop. Both ends are parallel and bent upwards to form barbed hooks. The gap between has an inward facing spike on each side. To use, the attachment loop is squeezed to open out the sides; the bait is impaled on the spikes and is held when the loop is released. Dimensions differ depending on the fish and are a function of the inner diameter of the loop.</p> |
