<p>PURPOSE:To enable detection of an angular difference between a beam directional way as commanded and a target direction, by removing variation components in the beam directional way due to changes in transmission frequency from an output signal of a divider for detecting monopulse errors. CONSTITUTION:A transmission frequency switch 1 specifies transmission frequency for a transmitter 2, which 2 generates a transmission pulse with the frequency specified and the transmission pulse is radiated into an external space from a phase array antenna 4 through a transmitting/receiving switch 3. A beam controller 5 calculates the phase of antenna elements at a fixed transmission frequency. An output ratio of target signal received by a sum channel receiver 6 provided on a sum channel of the antenna 4 to that received by a difference channel receiver 7 provided on a difference channel thereof 4 is determined by a divider 8. Then, variation components in the beam directional angle due to changes in the transmission frequency is removed by an arithmetic unit 9 from the output signal thereof using a specified formula to calculate an angular difference between the beam directional way as commanded and the target direction.</p> |
