<p>PURPOSE:To control the voltage of a generator output terminal to a set value by supplying a control current from an automatic voltage regulator normally and a control current form field regulating means at the time of operating defect detecting means to the control winding of a saturable current transformer. CONSTITUTION:Defect detecting means 1 outputs defect signals (c), (d) to field regulating means 2, switching circuit 3 when the terminal voltage (a) of an AC generator 11 exceeds a set value or the output current (b) of a thyristor 3a of a component of an automatic voltage regulator 13 is zero. When the signal (d) is fed to the switching circuit 3, the circuit 3 switches the connection of a saturable current transformer 20 with a control winding 20c from the regulator 13 to the regulating means 2. Simultaneously, the means 2 controls the amplitude of a current flowing from the winding 20b to a rectifier 18, i.e., the amplitude of a field current flowing to a field winding 11a.</p> |
