PURPOSE: To easily move a cable passing through a stacking body of connectors by moving supply unit to a position on a fixing device to insert the end of the cable into a connector in the condition that a cable guide is set at a pull-in position. CONSTITUTION: At the beginning of a working cycle, a supply unit 46 is set at a pull-in position, resulting in individual connectors 6 to be moved to an arrow direction and located in the insert of a connector fixing device 50. The individual connectors 6 are filled onto the fixing device 50 with a completely automatic filling mechanism stored in a housing or manual operation. In either case, a cable guide 126 is located at the pull-in position, so that the supply unit 46 is moved frontward and the preceding end of the guide 126 comes near to the preceding fixing device 50 for a stacking body 49 of connectors. The end of the cable 4 is supplied through the guide 126 into the preceding connector 6, which is mounted on the cable 4. The fixing device 50 is moved along a rail 38, and the cable is pulled out of a spool 44, mounted with the next connector and cut off after these procedures are repeated. |
