PURPOSE:To secure a steering characteristic as specified by providing a steering frequency-rear-wheel steering angle gain characteristic after correction of a proportional constant in a differential constant correcting means so as to cause it to be resembled to the steering frequency-rear-wheel steering angle gain characteristic made by a transfer function. CONSTITUTION:A rear-wheel steering gear steers rear wheels after giving a rear-wheel steering angle delta r to a front-wheel steering angle delta f so as to satisfy a transfer function, but at this time, a proportional constant correcting means corrects a proportional constant K so as to cause a stationary yaw rate gain to become a suitable value, while a differential constant correcting means corrects a differential constant tau so as to cause a steering frequency-rear-wheel steering angle gain characteristic attending on correction of the proportional constant to be resembled to another steering frequency-rear-wheel steering angle gain characteristic made by the transfer function. Accordingly, the stational yaw rate gain comes to a suitable one owing to the correction of the proportional constant K, thus a steering characteristic during stead circular turning comes to such one as specified irrespective of vehicle technical data. Even by correction of the proportional constant, such a possibility that vehicle maneuverability in a transition period during front-wheel steering angle changing might come to such one as having a sense of incompatibility is preventable. |
