PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated polyester molded body excellent in gas barrier properties by laminating a liquid crystal polyester layer containing a monomer having sulfonate to at least the single surface of a polyester layer. CONSTITUTION:A polyester molded body is formed by laminating a liquid crystal polyester layer containing a monomer having sulfonate to at least the single surface of a polyester layer. Said sulfonate is one selected from 5- sulfoisophthalate and a derivative thereof. Liquid crystal polyester is obtained as a polymer having a high polymerization degree only by melt polymerization and shows good optical anisotropy, mechanical properties, gas barrier properties and heat resistance and is also excellent in flowability at the time of melting and can be subjected to a melt molded body by the extrusion molding, injection molding, compression molding or blow molding with polyester and, especially, when it is formed into a film, this film can be biaxially stretched. Since liquid crystal polyester contains sulfonate, it is stretched in a hydrous state to make it possible to uniformly form a thin film having a thickness of below 5mum under low tension by high magnification stretching. |
