Oxyacetylene flame torch in which the flow rate adjustments of oxygen and of acetylene are identified precisely and reliably for a certain number of conditions of use, particularly for lighting. According to the invention, the flame torch includes two flow rate adjustment valves (20a, 20b) with a progressive action, respectively inserted in an oxygen supply pipe (21) and in a combustible gas supply pipe (22), and the elements for controlling these valves respectively include rods (16) elastically urged against a means forming a cam (23) preferably having the form of a circular arc-shaped groove connected to a control knob. <IMAGE>
