PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepaid card system, an information recorder, a card reader, and a use permission method capable of improving the reliability of a prepaid card by judging whether the magnetic information of the prepaid card is legally recorded or not. SOLUTION: A CCD camera 320 in an information recorder 300 picks up the image around a mark printed on a prepaid card transported by a card transport part 310. An image analysis part 330 analyzes image data inputted from the camera 320 and finds out the printing position of the mark. A recording part 340 records the printing position of the mark inherent in each card analyzed by the analysis part 330 in the prepaid card as magnetic information. When the prepaid card is used, a card reader compares the printing position of the mark recorded as the magnetic information with an actually printed mark position and judges whether the magnetic information is legally recorded or not. |
