PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical information recording medium with a protective layer capable of effectively preventing the photo-deterioration of a metallic reflecting layer of Ag expected to provide high performance and large capacity to the recording medium but liable to cause photo-degradation in the optical information recording medium having a metallic reflecting layer. SOLUTION: An organic dye-containing recording layer 2, a metallic reflecting layer 3 and a protective layer are laminated on a transparent substrate 1 to obtain the objective optical information recording medium. The protective layer laminated on the reflecting layer 3 consists of a 1st protective layer 4 comprising a resin film of 2-8 μm thickness and a 2nd protective layer 5 comprising an inorganic filler-containing resin film disposed on the 1st protective layer 4. |
