PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect important data and to minimize the progression of damage when vibrations and impact are applied to an information processor. SOLUTION: An impact and vibration detecting means 12 detecting impact and vibrations applied to an information processor main body is provided in the information processor main body, and a nonvolatile memory means 16 storing error information on the basis of the impact and vibrations detected by the means 12 is provided. Thus, a self-diagnosing means 22 performs self- diagnosis based on the error information, and, for instance, when an error occurs in an external memory (hard disk) 42, data is replaced with data stored in a main storage memory 41. |
