PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly detect the degree of air pollution according to the size of a room even when an obstacle exists or the room is bent in an L shape by providing a size input means for allowing a control means to recognize the size of the room to be installed. SOLUTION: By combining either of a plus or minus button for composing a size input means 27 of a wireless remote controller 17 for pressing, the size of a room is inputted, thus displaying the inputted size of the room in figures in a window 20 for displaying the degree of pollution, and at the same time comparing a preset size reference value with the inputted size of the room within a control means 9. When the preset size reference value is the same as the inputted size of the room, the set display of the degree of pollution and operation is continued as specified. Otherwise, correction being proportional to (an input value/a reference value) is carried out. More specifically, the correction is made to a room being wider than a reference so that the sensitivity of a degree-of-pollution sensor 12 is increased, and the correction is made to a room smaller than the reference so that the sensitivity of the degree-of- pollution sensor 12 is decreased. In this state, the display of the degree of pollution and operation of an air cleaner is corrected thereafter. |
