PRODUCTION OF SERUM ALBUMIN PREPARATION

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce highly purified serum albumin further reduced in content of contaminating proteins such as transferin and capable of suppressing the production of polymers caused by the contaminating proteins by using a cation exchanger on a polyacrylamide-based carrier. CONSTITUTION:The characteristics of this method for production of a serum albumin preparation comprises a process for treating an aqueous solution containing the serum albumin with an anion exchanger, then treating the resultant solution with a cation exchanger and heat-treating the treated solution and further the cation exchanger containing a polyacrylamide-based carrier having cation exchange groups.
