<p>PURPOSE:To enable the production of carbonization gas having a low acidity and prevent dust from being dispersed by improving the carbonization operating efficiency and carbonization efficiency. CONSTITUTION:This continuous type carbonization apparatus is obtained by installing a lengthwise long carbonization heating vessel 10 having an inlet 11 of a carbonizable material (2a) in the upper part and an outlet 13 in the lower part thereof, a heater 14, installed in the lateral part of the carbonization heating vessel 10 and used for supplying the heat for carbonizing the carbonizable material, a steam generator 16 for generating steam with the heat of a gas from the heater 14 and feeding the steam to the carbonization heating vessel, a gas discharge part 30 for discharging a combustion gas from the carbonization heating vessel 10, a carbonization gas conduit 22 for discharging the carbonization gas from the carbonization heating vessel 10 and an openable and closable movable vessel 2, installed so as to hermetically seal the inlet 11 of the carbonization heating vessel 10, movable in the transverse direction and used for charging the carbonizable material into the carbonization heating vessel. Furthermore, the apparatus is equipped with a spray 39 capable of sinking the tip of the discharging part 30 connected to the outlet 13 of the carbonization heating vessel 10 in water and spraying water on the inner space of the discharging part 30.</p> |
