<p>PURPOSE:To provide a positioning device for a platen roller for use in a printing apparatus and close contact type image-reading device. CONSTITUTION:The device includes a supporting plate 2, a head substrate 9 secured on the supporting plate 2, a heating body 6 for forming a printing part provided on the head substrate 9, a platen roller 5, a disc groove 2c forming a shaft insertion part designed to be in parallel with the heating body 6 and to pierce through both the side faces of the supporting plate 2, a shaft 3 to be inserted into the disc groove 2c and also to be a fulcrum for pressing the heating body 6 against the platen roller 5, and leaf springs 7 for pressing the heating body against the platen roller 5. Since, in the side not to be provided with the platen roller 5 of the supporting plate 2, a guide member or the like is not fixed, resulting in a minimization of the entirety of a printing device equipped with a platen roller or a close contact type image reading device.</p> |
