A method of genotyping is provided with wide applicability to all organisms including plants, animals, bacteria and viruses. The method essentially relies on detecting melt curve or T>m< differences between DNA samples derived from organisms for which genotypic analysis is required. An advantage of this method is that a single T>m< value may be obtained from DNA samples containing multiple DNA fragments, thereby allowing an accurate determination of genetic similarity or dissimilarity between samples. |
