The component with channels for coolant and at least one inlet and at least outlet for the coolant, has a channel cross-section comprising a chemically and/or physically resistant inner layer (A) in contact with the coolant at a temperature of at least 100 deg C and an outer layer (B). A method for supplying coolant using these components is also claimed.
