Motor vehicle and trailer flashing and warning light module

The standard flasher unit for the vehicle is fitted into a module which plugs into the hazard switch position in the dashboard. The module has a switch pad (2) on the front to operate the hazard flashers, with a repeater lamp (3) integrated into the switch. If a trailer is fitted, or a light bar eg. for fitting onto a rear carrier for bicycles, the standard module is replaced by a similar sized module with integral sensing of the additional flasher lamps and with a trailer repeater lamp (4) integrated into the hazard switch.
