PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply give an ink jet recording characteristic to thin fiber cloth or the like available in a general home by forming an adhesive layer on a supporting body in a carrying assist member for ink jet recording material, and providing an ink absorbing property in the adhesive layer. SOLUTION: On a supporting body 11 using a polyester film, applying liquid in which an ink absorbing hot melt adhesive is dissolved in a solvent is spread and dried so as to be 10 μm in the film thickness after drying to form an adhesive layer 12, and hence a carrying assist member 1 for ink jet recording material is obtained. Next, on the obtained adhesive layer 12 of the carrying assist member 1 for ink jet recording material, after piling up a cotton fabric 2 of weighing of 50/m2, they are heated and pressure contacted so as to obtain the ink jet recording material 3. Hereby, an ink jet recording characteristic can be simply given to thin fiber cloth or the like available in a general home. |
