PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breading of bacteria on the surface of an evaporator and to prevent odor materials emanating from the bacteria from making occupant feel discomfort. SOLUTION: A bactericidal photocatalyst 41 made from titanium oxide or the like is attached to the surface of an evaporator 40. An ultraviolet lamp (light source) 50 is arranged between the evaporator 40 and a deodorizing filter (deodorizing member) 32 arranged upstream thereof. Ultraviolet rays from the ultraviolet ray lamp 50 impinge on the odor-decomposing photocatalyst 34 of the deodorizing filter 32 and also on the bactericidal photocatalyst 41 of the evaporator 40 to cause the catalytic action of the photocatalysts 34, 41.
