The child's safety seat consists of a shell (5) of supple polyurethane foam, molded over a reinforcing frame (7) made from metal tubing, rod or strip, or from a rigid plastic produced by injection molding or thermoforming, and incorporating strap guides (8). The frame comprises a main L-shaped structure (71) with lengthwise members (72) connected by cross bars (73) and side structures (74) which are offset to the sides of the lengthwise members. The foam shell can be covered with a suitable fabric.
