PURPOSE: An apparatus for playing many pieces of disks is provided to mount a magazine loading many pieces of disks on a medium apparatus, and to automatically load a disk for being played into a recording medium by a user selection, so as to automatically switch to a loading or an unloading mode by a transferring member for transferring the pieces of the disks. CONSTITUTION: A mode switching device(500) comprises as follows. A pinion gear(411) is formed on one end of a driving motor(410). A worm gear(510) is in gear with the pinion gear(411) to be interlocked with the pinion gear(411). A clutch gear(511) is in gear with the worm gear(510). A rotating part(512) is rotative by pivoting on a rotative axis(P1) installed in the clutch gear(511). A change gear(513) is formed on one end of the rotating part(512), and is in gear with by being interlocked with a gear of a tray.
