PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the process of manufacture and to assure a sufficient opening ratio in spite of a high-fineness panel by forming color mixing preventive layers having projecting shapes in the boundary regions of color filters of different colors on a substrate. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is constituted by bonding the drive substrate and a counter substrate facing this drive substrate to each other, filling liquid crystals into the spacing between the drive substrate and the counter substrate to form a liquid crystal layer, then end-sealing the liquid crystal layer by a sealant. After the wiring formation of signal lines 27 of the drive substrate, black matrices BMs 42 consisting of organic matter are formed to the least possible overlap quantity by considering a PR(photoresist) margin for the wiring width. Next, a color filter receptor layer 43 is formed and thereafter coloring liquids are respectively injected by coloring liquid injection nozzles of an ink jet system, by which color filters 23a, 23b and 23c are formed. At this time, the projecting shape structure by the BMs 42 prevents the color mixing of the adjacent colored solusion. |
