Crystal (I) of depsipeptide derivative (IV) represented by the following formula: <CHEM> of the present invention is characterized in that the crystal (I) substantially has the powdery X-ray diffraction characteristic properties described in Table 1 and has an endothermic peak substantially at 155 DEG C by differential thermal analysis. <TABLE> The novel crystal of depsipeptide derivative have excellent filtration properties during crystallization, good fluidity and the like, therefore, resulting in improved production efficiency and yields of the crystal.
