PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for ink jet recording without impairing original quality of a high quality image by preventing bronzing. SOLUTION: In the method for ink jet recording comprising the steps of discharging ink droplets to a recording medium having an ink receptive layer containing an at least hydrophilic polymer as a main body forming an image, hitting amount of a black ink is controlled to be less than a maximum ink hitting amount of a color ink. Preferably, the maximum hitting amount of the black ink is controlled to be 20% Duty or below. |
