PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which is capable of efficiently lowering the concentration of ozone and NOX which are the discharge products generated near a so-called separation charger. SOLUTION: This image forming device has a photocatalyst material 40 for cracking of the discharge products near the discharge point of an electrostatic charger 14 which makes transfer paper P easily releasable from a photoreceptor by imparting an electric charge to the rear surface of the transfer paper P, for example, on the surface facing a discharge wire 22, thereby efficiently cracking the ozone and NOX which are the discharge products generated near the electrostatic charger 14 and lowering the concentration thereof. |
