SOLUTION: This device is provided with an interface agent 1 which infers the current operating state of a plant A according to the past plant operation examples and a virtual plant display system 4 which displays the VR images showing virtually and three-dimensionally the operating state of the devices comprising the plant A on a CRT display 6 as the operation support images to support an operator in response to the inferred result of the agent 1. In such a constitution, a main control part comprising the system 4 displays the color of a relevant VR device image shown on the display 6 in a different color according to the abnormality level of the device if the operating state of the device is abnormal, for example.
