PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk in which good recording and reproducing characteristics can be obtained while the rugged surface state of a substrate is accurately reflected to a phase transition type recording film. SOLUTION: The optical disk is obtained by laminating an information recording layer consisting of at least a dielectric film, recording film and reflection film on a transparent substrate having guide grooves produced by alternately arranging a land part (17) and a groove part (18) having different height in a spiral or concentric state to the rotation center of the disk, and further laminating a light transmitting layer (16) thereon. Data is recorded or recorded data is reproduced by a laser beam irradiating through the light transmitting layer (16). The thermal conductivity of the reflection film is >=80 W/(m.K). |
