PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize fuel injection and secure lubrication of a distribution shaft in a distribution type fuel injection pump which has a distribution shaft for suctioning and discharging fuel due to reciprocation of a plunger interlocked with a cam, and press-feeding the fuel to cylinders synchronously to the rotation of the cam, and has an oil feeding pump driven by the can on the distribution shaft. SOLUTION: A lid body 303b covering a rotational surface of an oil feeding pump 303 is faced to a fuel gallery formed on the bottom of an upper housing 28a. A distribution shaft sleeve 9b is projected to the fuel gallery 43, while an inversed suction hole 9c is formed on the projected portion. The distribution shaft sleeve 9b is provided with, sequentially from the upper side, a press-feeding high pressure passage 9f, a discharge passage 9d, and an inversed suction passage 9c. A slit is formed on an outer periphery of the distribution shaft 9. A small diameter hole is formed so as to be directed to an axial center from the slit. In addition, a communication passage is formed on an axial center of the distribution shaft for equalizing pressure. |
