摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase change optical recording medium that has a reflective heat radiator layer made at a low cost by using mainly silver. SOLUTION: This optical recording medium has a reflective heat radiator 5 formed on either one of the surfaces of the recording layer 3 through a dielectric protective layer 4. The recording layer 3 is made of a phase change recording material that has a Sb3 Te semi-stabilizer layer. The dielectric protective layer 4 is made of a material mainly consisting of ZrO2 and the reflective heat radiator layer 5 a material mainly of Ag.
