PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly execute melting regardless of the size of a needle diameter by equipping a capacitor for storing a utility power source, a charging circuit for storing electricity in the capacitor and positive and negative electrodes for discharging electricity stored in the capacitor, short-circuiting the both electrodes by a used injection needle and melting the needle by means of resistance heat owing to a discharge current. SOLUTION: This device is the one for melting and treating the used injection needle, the utility power source 8 is efficiently stored in the capacitor 2 by the charging circuit 1 and electricity stored in the capacitor 2 is prevented from reversely flowing to the circuit 1 by a diode 5. Then a current limiting circuit 3 is arranged between the plus terminal of the capacitor 2 and the plus electrode 4-a of an electrode unit 4, and the minus terminal of the capacitor 2 is connected to the minus electrode 4-b of the unit 4. A treatment needle 9 is kept by the plus electrode 4-a, electricity in the capacitor 2 is discharged when the needle 9 is put on the minus electrode 4-b, and the needle is melted by the sum of heat resistance between the both electrodes 4-a and 4-b and by heat of arch discharge which occurs on the joint surface of the tip of the needle 9 with the minus electrode 4-b. |
