PURPOSE: A system and a method for generating an animation message on a portable terminal are provided to enable a user to transmit the animation message formed with an animation made by the user to the portable terminal of other user or through an email. CONSTITUTION: An image information database(420) stores images to enable the user to make the animation message. An animation message generating module(460) helps the user input an animation message generation condition, generates the animation message corresponding to the animation message generation condition, and transmits it to user terminals(200,300).
